1950

1952		Daito Shoji Co., Ltd. was founded in Kita-ku, Osaka with capital of 30,000 yen. Apoointed as a distributor of Tokyo Telecommunications Engineering Corporation, now known as Sony Corporation.
1958		Tokyo Sales Office was opened. Later, Tokyo Headquarters in 1968.
1959		Far-Eastern agent for Taber Industries in the United States to import and sell its wear testing equipment and other measuring machines.

1960

1963		Nagoya Sales Office was opened in Naka-ku, Nagoya.
1967		Kyoto Sales Office was opened in Ukyo-ku, Kyoto.
		Authorized national dealer for Hitachi's clean room equipment.
1969		Sole agent in Japan for Bendix's aerospace, marine and industrial connectors. Capital was increased to 25 million yen.
		Hiroshima Sales Office was opened in Naka-ku, Hiroshima.
		Head Office was moved to 1-3, Shimamachi 1-chome, Chuo-ku, Osaka

1970

1970		Head Office was moved to 1-3, Shimamachi 1-chome, Chuo-ku, Osaka
		Retail department for Sony's products was independently incorporated with the company name of ASD capitalized at 10 million yen as a special chain shop for Sony's products.
1972		Sole agent for Fujikoshi Machinery Corp.'s lapping machines.
1973		Daito Seiki Kogyo K.K. (now Daitron Technology) was established. Manufacture of automated stamp equipment and efficiency-enhanced equipment started at Kinan Plant. The company moved to newly built Hashima Plant in 1984. Capital was increased to 30 million yen in the same year.
1974		Kyusyu Sales Office was opened in Kumamoto. Moved to Hakata-ku, Fukuoka in 1986 with the new name of Fukuoka Sales Office.
1975		Product Control Center was built in Suita, OSAKA, for central purchase and stock control.
1976		Tama Sales Office was opened in Kokubunji, TOKYO.
1977		Utsunomiya Sales Office was opened in Utsunomiya.
		Agency agreement was concluded with Hirose Electric Co.
1978		Agency agreement was concluded with Air Tech Japan.
1979		Computer system was introduced to the company.
		Authorized dealer for Hitachi Cable's electronic materials.
		Matsumoto Sales Office was opened in Matsumoto, NAGANO.
		Knockdown plant for connectors of Bendix in the USA was moved to Ritto in SHIGA.

1980

1981		Agency agreement was concluded with Sankyo Engineering Co.
1983		Tokyo Product Control Center was established in Kokubunji, TOKYO.
		Osaka Product Control Center was expanded with a new building built in the neighboring location, where Osaka Electronics Sales Office was moved.
1984		Daito-Topaz, a joint venture company with Topaz Inc. in the United States, was established with capital of 80 million yen. Joint venture was dissolved in December 1990, and a wholly-owned subsidiary was established with the new name of Daito Powertron Ltd.
1985		Agency agreement was concluded with Sony Magnetape Sales Co.
		Kobe Sales Office was opened in Chuo-ku, Kobe.
1986		Yokohama Sales Office was opened in front of Shin-Yokohama Station in Kohoku-ku, Yokohama.
		Tama Plant was established in Nishitama-gun, TOKYO.
		Daitron, Inc., a locally incorporated subsidiary was established in Portland, Oregon, as the first base in the United States.
		Representative Office was opened in Taipei, Taiwan.
1988		Daito Electronics Co. and Daito Seiki Kogyo K.K. were merged to Daitron Technology Co., Ltd. with capital of 96 million yen.
1989		Agency agreement was concluded with LSI Logic Co.

1990

1990		Kanazawa Sales Office was opened in front of JR Kanazawa Station in Kanazawa.
1991		Three divisional organization system of Electronics, Machinery and International was introduced.
		New Head Office building was completed.
1992		Representative Office was opened in Munchen, Germany.
1994		Cable-harness Assembly Division was independently incorporated with the company name of Daito Denso Co., Ltd. capitalized at 80 million yen.
		Information System Sales Department was established in Tokyo and Osaka.
1995		Agency agreement was concluded with RadiSys Co.
		Agency agreement was concluded with Nippon Micro Touch Systems Co.
1996		Representative Office was opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
		Sendai Sales Office was opened in Aoba-ku, Sendai.
1997		Taipei Representative Office was reorganized to Taipei Office.
1998		Company name of Daito Shoji Co., Ltd. was changed to Daito Electron Co., Ltd.
		Semiconductor Sales Department was established in Tokyo and Osaka.
		The Electronics Operation obtained ISO 9002 certification.
		Daitron (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a locally incorporated subsidiary, was established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
1999		Approved by the Security Dealers' Association of Japan as registered over-the-counter issues on September 8, 1999.
		Agency agreement was concluded with Semiconductor Marketing & Business Development center OMRON Corporation.

2000

2000		Representative Office was opened in Seoul, and reorganized it as the Seoul Branch.
		Shizuoka Sales Office was opened in Miyuki-cho, Shizuoka.
		Reorganized Daitron Technology Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned subsidiary.
2001		Approval of its listing on the 2nd Sec. of Tokyo and Osaka Stock Exchange.
		Hong Kong Branch was opened in Hong Kong.
		Products Development Center was opened in Tokyo Headquarter.
2002		Daitron (H.K.) Co., Ltd., a locally incorporated subsidiary, was established in Hong Kong, China.
		Daitron (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a locally incorporated subsidiary, was established in Shanghai, China.
2003		Web Center was established in Procurement Department of Electronics Operation.
		Procurement Dept., Tama Sales Office and Osaka Electronic Sales Office, Electronics Operation obtained ISO 14001 cetrification.
		Daito Tokyo Diamond Wheel Co., Ltd. a joint venture company with Tokyo Diamond Tools Mfg. Co., Ltd. was established in Taiwan with capital of NTS18,000,000.
2004		Head Office, sales offices and logistic centers scattered around OSAKA Prefecture were consolidated into the new Head Office building in Shin-Osaka.
2005		Daito Electron Co., Ltd. absorbed its wholly owned subsidiary, Daito Powertron, Ltd.
		Kontron Technology Japan Co., Ltd., a joint venture company with Kontron Group companies, was established with capital of 10 million yen.
2006		Listed on the first sections of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Osaka Securities Exchange.
		Locally incorporate the Seoul Branch into a wholly-owned subsidiary, DAITRON (KOREA) CO., LTD. at the capital of 1 billion won.
2007		Tama Office and Tokyo Center of Procurement Dept. were relocated in Kunitachi City, Tokyo.
		Daito Denso Co., Ltd. merged Takawa Industry Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned subsidiary.
2008		Daito Electron Co., Ltd. absorbed its wholly owned subsidiary, AS Daito Co., Ltd.
		Daitron (Thailand) Co., Ltd. a locally incorporated subsidiary, was established in Bangkok, Thailand.
2009		EM Business Department was established after purchasing the semiconductor related manufacturing equipment business of EMTEC Co.,Ltd.
		Capital tie-up with an affiliated company Daito Tokyo Diamond Wheel Co., Ltd. was desolved.
